3 Ways to be healed from being hurt - Part 3

Updated: Mar 18, 2019

  1. Walk in LOVE

  2. Walk in LIGHT

  3. Walk in WISDOM

To WALK IN WISDOM is to be wise and cautious of how we live.

I believe that one of the hardest things for us to do after being hurt by others is to control our outward expressions concerning the matter.

Walking in INTELLIGENCE is to keep on speaking words of life, and fill our heart and mouth with praise –regardless of the hurt.

Surely it can be difficult to express joyful, happy, cheerful words towards one another while hurting. However, walking in wisdom gives us strength to press through it.

Days, hours, seconds can be as quick as a vapor. To walk in wisdom is to assess what happened, and recognize that it’s in the PAST.

We can never change the past! It’s like spilt milk – once wasted it cannot be undone.

What we can do is learn from it, and keep moving forward. A wise person never retaliates when someone hurts them –but instead prays for them, and to be healed.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. –James 5:16

All THREE of these WALKS (love, light, wisdom) in this blog segment are intended to build us up to a level of maturity. This level in life is called “BEING STRETCHED”. Each one will definitely stretch us.

Life challenges come and go, but we should stride to walk in love, light, and wisdom to get the best results (see Ephesians 5). Be encouraged, and share this article with others to inspire them.
